King David was such a blessed man because he knows how to enter into intimacy with God. Little wonder God called him “A man after His own heart.” For one person to write so much love letters as we can read his love songs, travails, prayers, fears, troubles, hopes, confessions and praises to God is really Amazing, and David enjoyed the best of God on earth. God’s promises upon David transcends this present world. In the age to come David will still be relevant. In truth, the Throne of our Lord Jesus Christ was built upon David. What a blessedness!
King David shared this secret with us in Psalms 91:1, he said, until we begin to dwell in the secret place of the Most High, things may not be in the right perspective with us (paraphrased). Many of us are toooooo busy for God, we do not have time for devotion. Today, I am encouraging everyone to develop spending time with God.
God has secret which is known or revealed to those who co-habit with Him Psalms 25:14. Even in the natural world, we gravitates towards our playmates. I personally learn a great deal from David which I will love to share part of my morning devotion with you, as I develop myself to travel through this secret journey with the Lord on daily basis.
The scripture says, God inhabit the Praises of His people, I find it to be true.
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Matthew 22:32
He who was, He who is, He who is coming.
He that soar on the wings of the wind. He that mounted the Cherubim, The God who brings Salvation on the earth. You split open the Sea by your great Power, You broke the heads of the monster in the Sea, and crushed the heads of Leviathan, and gave it as a food to the creatures of the dessert.
You open up springs and streams. You dried up the ever flowing rivers. The Day is Yours, Yours also is the night. You established the Sun and the Moon with trillions of uncountable galaxies, and sets all the boundaries of the earth. You made both summer and winter.
The voice of the Lord is Powerful. The voice of the Lord is Majestic.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon in pieces, and Lebanon leap like a calf, Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord strikes with flashes of Lightening.
The voice of the Lord shakes the dessert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks, and stripes the forest bare, and All cry in His Temple, Glory!
The Lord sits enthroned over the flood.
The Lord sits enthroned over the waters.
The Lord sits and enthroned above the circle of the earth.
He rules in the affairs of men.
He who was, He who is, and He who is to come.
He measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and weighted the mountain on the scales, and the hills in a balance.
He held the dust of the earth in a basket. He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls forth each of them by name, and because of your Great Power and Mighty Strength, not one of them is missing.
You are The King of All the kings, The Lord of all lords. You are The Living God, The God of the living. The Everlasting Father, The Mighty God Almighty. The Unchangeable, The Unsearchable, The Untouchable, The Unreachable, The Unseen to the evil.
The Bright and The Morning Star.
My Light and my life, my Light and my Salvation. The Roses and
Lilies of my life. The Ever Faithful God. The Eternity that swallowed all eternities. The Strength of my life that never fails, The fear of my life. The Pride, the Glory, the lifter up of my head.
The ever present help in time of need.
The Bishop of my soul.
The Eternal Rock of Ages.
The Great I AM
The Healer, The Balm of Gilead.
The Majesty on The Throne, surrounded by 24 elders who casts their crowns before Him daily, and the awesome foursome, foursome awesome creatures, who shout nonstop “Holy! Holy!! Holy!!! He Triumph Gloriously, the horse and its rider, He overthrown into the sea.
My Maker, my defender, my provision, my health, my healer, my sustainer, my protector, my defence. My Father, my Lord, and my Master. From you I came, and to you I return.
